When to use

Glow effects work best on dark backgrounds (Depth palette) in digital contexts: web interfaces, app UI, presentations, and motion graphics. They reinforce the brand's sense of discovery and energy.

Colour source

Always derive glow colours from the brand palette. Pulse and Flare for warmth and urgency. Orbit and Dawn for calm tech. Solar and Sprout for positivity. Never invent glow colours outside the palette.

Intensity

Keep glows subtle by default — they should feel like ambient light, not neon signage. Reserve stronger intensity for interactive states (hover, focus) and key call-to-action moments.
